Those trips became some of his most treasured memories, and the cabin was ultimately named The Acosta in his grandparents honor—a tribute to the ones who first shared his love for the mountains.

 

For Kristina, it was the charming mountain town of Cashiers, where family vacations sparked a lifelong love for cool mornings, winding trails, and peaceful evenings.

 

When they met, there was never a question about where they would one day build their own retreat. The mountains had already captured both of their hearts.

 

They dreamed of creating a place where family, adventure, and slowing down could all exist under one roof. Every detail of the cabin was thoughtfully designed from the ground up to reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscape while offering the comfort and warmth of home.

 

Today, The Acosta is more than a vacation home. It’s a place where family traditions continue, life’s simple moments are celebrated, and new memories are made—just as Daniel did with his grandfather years ago.
